My Best Ever Session:	I would have to say my best session ever was one morning at a secret spot here in Costa Rica, that gets insane hollow barrels when the swell is overhead. I surfed it all day with two other people on a double overhead day of grinding barrels and I got the deepest tube of my life. I can't believe that I made it out. And then, the next wave I got one even deeper. Indo style perfection with offshore winds all day long.
Biggest Fear or Wipe out:	My worst wipeout was the first time I surfed at Salsa Brava on a big, but not so perfect day. I was riding a borrowed board and it looked much smaller from the shore. I got to the lineup and watch this local kid freefall from the lip into a huge pit. I was immediately intimidated, but charged anyways. I could tell from the way the wave was warping that it was super shallow. I finally found a set wave that seemed like a good option to go on... I was wrong! I grabbed rail on take-off to keep from freefalling myself. I set my line and the wave heaved over me. I took a couple pumps in the tube gunning for the exit. Just when I thought I would make it the wave warped and pinched off my exit. I kept driving thinking that is was better to wipeout in the tube. I proceeded to go over the falls, which wasn't so bad until it slammed my hard on the reef. I got dragged underwater for at least 25 meters, came up gasping for air, got drilled by the next wave, paddled my ass off to make it back out. When I got back to the lineup, i could see that my rashguard was all bloody. Still shaken up, I paddled back to shore with my tail between my legs.
