Surf Scale: 3 ft = waist high, 4 ft = chest high, 5 ft = head high, 10 ft =double overhead

double overhead anything bigger is measured
by the number of lumps in your shorts!

In the Islands the "macho" measurement is from
the back of the wave not the face.

Cold murky water rips and reefs all count!
