Surf spot: Playa socorro, Canary Islands

Surf Trip: Tenerife Springtime ( 15 March 2010 - 31 March 2010)

Description:

First time out at Tenerife. The spot is the nearest surfable wave from our appartement, so it was obvious to check there first. What we saw was not funny: The heavy rainfall during February 2010 had loosen big rocks from the cliff and danger of landslide disposed the municipal authority to close the beach to public. Anyway, all fishers and surfers climbed around the fence and went down surfing, so I did the same.
