Description:
There are two waves: the main flow rider with a nice tube and a pool for beginners.
Only bodyboards are allowed. You can do drop knee but no stand up.
Finally you don't need so much practice on it to manage and not wipe out after 2 secondes.
Furthere more I was afraid to see to many people and to have to wait long long time but not at all. Sometimes, there was nobody ...
There were three guys who seem to practice a lot here!!

My Comments: the weather was cold and the water was smoky. It was a really strange session in the fog. You couldn't see waves coming so it was really hard to take off. It's a pity as the wawes were pretty good and powerful. Waves were smaller than yesterday but stayed powerful.

My Comments: Pretty hard for me to handle, but got some good ones although it was closing and crowded. There were 4 waves that were to big to duckdive on and my surfing karma had me caught on the inside 3 of those 4 times.

Waves were really big with no one out. Hopefuly two guys came to surf so I jumped in the water. The waves were really hard to take and that's why it's not my best session in my life.

My Comments: Huge morning swell about double overhead at the TREE, Nobody out and my amigo back at the ranch passed out from a long night at the DISCOTHEQA ! I went back and beat his ass until he got up and we paddled out into what was the best session ive ever had Hermosa. Stand straight up in some tubes and getting fucking drilled like a lil bitch, when Hermosa fires, IT IS WORLD CLASS ! Dont sit to far inside !

My drunk amigo broke his leash and decided to keep surfing with out one. We were about 3 football fields out that day too ! He dropped into a definite double overhead wave and made the drop and rode her all the way into the shorebreak to finish our session off. That was the same day we boarded a plane back to NYC ! yukkk

It was arounf high tide and after first trying 'the ditch' section I realized that the rip was real strong after 5-7ft Monsters crashing on this beach break I went closer to the Lion Rock and was surfing the re-forms, which were about 1-3 ft. It was fun, and meshy waves

My Comments: Started off smooth and glassy. With long 8-10 foot waves, it was super fun riding the waves for hundreds of yards. Unfortunately this was during a storm so the wind came in about an hour and a half later and ruined the conditions. However, the waves I had while it was still glassy made the session totally worth it.
Session Highlight: Glassy conditions during first half of session.
Comment on Swell, Waves and Wind: NW swell, 8-10 ft waves; started off glassy then side/offshore wind picked up and created lots of bump.
My Perfectible Points: Long waves ridden, got in a few vertical snaps and cutbacks.

I didnt think it was worth to go out because of the tide and the waves but i went out anyway with my friend and it was so not worth it. (It was freezing cold too)
