Hazard - Transits rarely breaks any good but on freak swells it can be worth the paddle. Works when the sea breeze is in because the SWester is offshore there. It can be a trap tho. I surfed it once by myself for a couple of hours with gentle SWester. Then the wind kicked to 40 knots and I couldn't paddle against the chop to get in. Went slowly backwards for about an hour and got rescued by a launch coming around Bathurst Point. Lucky. Watch it and go in BEFORE your arms are rooted.

those photos - yer those photos are pretty sick but dont go to rotto expecting to get that it was a 4m swell southerly winds and thats when its half decent so dont base ur trip on this lil wave.
