wife and i r back from guatemala - wow,cool. Guatemala was a fun trip. While i was there i've went and checked out Tubo Loco. Yo! really cool people at the camp. I've made the mistake of leaving there to go south to Monterico. Ah, I didn't catch any surf the swell was Over Head but it just closed out on me (not cool). The beach's are wonderful with the black sand. The next time I go I'm going to stay my ass right in Likin. Ty Mike for the invite!!! I'm hoping to see you real soon (next year). One love people

How's the water? - I'm going to Guatemala with my wife and child this march. I live in New York, we've been wanting to visit her family there. I've been looking 4 surf reports, whatever posible to make this trip epic. Can somebody help me out with web-sites on surf reports. What is the shark population like on the Pacific coast? Do I have to look out for bull sharks? well anyway i got alittle less than a month before we touch down into central america. I'll get back to u all with my reviews.

surfboard - Hi I'm going to Guatemala for a week in March, can't bring my surfboard as it is a part of a longer travel - how is the facilities for renting a surf board along the coast in Guatemala?

Any suggestions about a beach/place/town to go?

Board Rentals - Voy a viajar a Iztapa en enero y febrero, 2003 para pescar para pez vela, y quisiera saber si hay una tienda que podria alquilerme una tabla de surf mientras estoy alla. I am taking a sailfishing vacation to Iztapa in late January, early February, 2003, and would like to know if anyone knows of a shop that rents surf boards in Iztapa? I am debating whether to bring a board, or rent one if available. Does anyone know of a shop or person who would rent a board for a few days? Thanks in advance for your help, Bill
