Comentário : North beach with barge
Herequote27s a photo of north beach from the 70quote27s with two key features: 1) sand and 2) an actual barge. You can just see the barge peeking out on the left side. It was a huge wooden monstrosity that washed up against the cliff after an ill fated attempt at adding a floating extension to the jetty. It spent about fifteen years deteriorating against the cliff before finally breaking up and being partially buried by sand on north beach. Eventually it just disintegrated. The storm that finally broke it up in the early eighties also destroyed the end of the jetty which led to all the sand disappearing from the beach.
