going to Taghazout - Hello!! My name is Flavio, I`m from Brasil. I`m going to Taghazout from the 2nd dez 2010 to the 11 fev 2011. As I`m going alone, I`m seaching for surfers that are going on same dates to may be share a car or apartament rent, saving some money ;) ALso to have company and not go to the water alone in scret spots or whaterver.

Agadir - I will be in Agadir for the end of July.
Where is the best place to surf in this time of the year? Is it possible to rent a surfboard at the beach or I will have to take mine?
Any idea on cheap places to stay in Agadir?

Agadir - i just bought my ticket to agadir, i am looking for a place to surf (surfcamp) or something that can offer surf trips to the best spots and with meals included!! any suggestions.

buying surfboards? - Hi, I will be in Taghazout for 3 weeks in January, how easy is it to purchase a board on arrival? I will be backpacking through non-surfing countries in europe for 2 months prior and dont want to have a board with me for that period.

- Just came back from a amazing trip in Morocco. Country is beautifull and full of hustlers. The mountains around Marrakech are very beautifull and you can even surf the snow in the winter and early spring in a place called Oukaimeden (take cash, no atm overthere).

The south of Essaouira is beautifull and Essaouira itself is fun of a short stay. Between Essaouira and Agadir is an amazing scenic coastline. Combination of reef, beach breaks and sand bars. Chill out in small and fishersmen villages with just locals and surfs.... without the lack of alcohol nightlife doesn't realy excists in outside the mayor cities.

Was looking forward to Taghazout, but the place (not the surf) was really really really messed up. The main road was full of glue sniffers (we asked some local waiters), a thing we only saw in Taghazout. When high on glue people look like zombies... for real, this gives the place a very messed up atmosphere, like you want to get the hell out of there. If you JUST care about the surf Taghazout is the place, with a lot of different breaks around for everybody. If you expect a bit more from your trip besides surfing head up north for much more scenic spots and goooood waves aswell.....

PS. Agadir is tourist trap full of retired Germans and no real surf overthere, seriously head up north towards Essaouira....

Morocco in Feb - heading to morocco in February early feb till mid feb. heading there alone but want to hire a car to travel around. If anyone wants to share a car expense and is thinking about morocco that same time that would be cool. Dana

Staying in Taghazoute in Jan - I'm coming to Taghazoute in January to stay for a month. I was booked into a B&B a couple of km up the road but I just found out it has closed down.

As I'm staying for a month, I need to do this on a budget, so £9 a night for the B&B was about right and I don't really want to spend £20 a night minimum for one of the surf camps. Are there many other budget accomodation options in Tag? If so, will I be able to book or is it better just to turn up and ask around?

agadir - I'm going to agadir on the 24th of novemenber for a week, any reccomendations on places to surf and stay? if anyone will be there in that time get in contact if you want to hire a car or something.
