Spencer shorebreak - Spencer bay has an awsome and powerful shorey further up the beach. Look closely on the GPS map, there are two pointbreaks here and a lefthand reefbreak which works on bigger swell.

- One of the safest spots in the area with less hassle from currents, although sharks are a whole new story.. but thats Namibia brother..

Your mother is so funny - Ja I put it on to boast bru but if you keen to surf it then you can always try 'jogging' to it nature-boy. Make the effort to get in and find this wave or stick to jogging.

you are so funny - closest to get there with google earth... what's the point in posting the spot then?

Have a look on google earth and believe me! - Last times we were here we counted about 30 perfect (mostly left) point breaks along the 'forbidden coast', all working and solid, and that's excluding the 6 we surfed and added to the site. Good luck

Try Elizabeth bay instead.. - Contacting the mining company wont help and no, there are no tours here. Strictly off limits to all who do not work here. Fortunately there are tours that go to Elizabeth Bay (together with Kolmanskop) but i dont know if they allow bringing in surf boards cause the odd diamond can still be found on the beach. (Check with them or try keeping them well coverd.) Its in a steep bay so you'll have quite a walk getting to it but trust me its worth it. We came in using another quicker road from the other side but it too is off limits. Dont surf alone here, too dangerous currents and sharks..

How do I get in? - Can I just contact the mining company? Anybody offer tours here?

Looooooong waves. - There are two waves. Spencers, and another reefpoint break further up we call 'bamboes punt' or kelp point, which need a bigger sweel to start working but gets classic. You can see it breaking in the picture. Good luck getting here but if you can, you wont be dissapointed.
