- I've lived in this area on and off for over 2 years now and I have never seen a rideable wave worth frothing over,if you want to surf in Thailand, hit the Phuket area for some fun little beach breaks. If anyone else has ever seen any rideable waves here I'd be interested to know.Put up some pics as proof. Good luck and happy searching!!!!!!

ACtual Surf - Truth is this weekend i went to see if it was true./..and its not bad..went over there and the waves towards the evening the power picked up..during the day a little bit weak..i actually used a 5'10 fish and caught a couple of waves..wasnt too sloppy i got some nice left and rights..You need to paddle hella fast though if u surf a short board..probably a long board and stuff would be really good.. anyways caught a few waves..whole beach not bad..i was looking on the way home and there is a pier, jetty or sumthing that has some nice waves that brerak to either side of it..nice and clean..didn't check it out though..anyways looks really good..I talked to a local cus my dad speaks thai he said last week got monsoon waves..2-3meters he said huge..so im gonan try next week,...he said today was the only day it was calm..mayeb a world class?? haha jk..here are some pictures for the ppl interested..email me if any questions
