- Great surf in USVI and BVI if you need a boat in your search for surf Hal at www.Halaciouscharters.com is a great connection. 2/15/12 we surfed a cloudbreak reef 1/2 mile offshore between two islands by ourselves. Solo sessions in the Carribean are what it is all about.

bvi airfare - check out and airline called cape air. try to fly into puerto rico and take cape air into tortola. from there you can get anywhere via boat! If you really want an adventure, you can rent a sailboat with 2 cabins for the week for 2500 usd. check out moorings or horizon yacht charters. its cheaper than the hotels and you can anchor right off the break! good luck!

size of swell last march - i was in tortola last march during that monster swell. i was surfing uncrowded pirates cove during a transworld photoshoot, but heard that Cane garden was going off, and heard claims of 15ft faces, is this true? has it ever gotten bigger than that swell?

expensive - I'm planning to come here for a family vacation i found a decent place to stay that's not too expensive. But the cheapest to fly here is like 500 bucks. Anyone know a cheaper way. Or is this place only for the rich.

British Virgin Islands - Hi-great post!-We were lucky enough to have our luxury holidays in British Virgin Islands last year-it was amazing!-The people, beaches and weather were all superb.Can't wait to go back!-Im just a newbie surfer but some of the more advanced guys we were talking to seem to really rate the place.

access to beaches - hey there.
my wife and i are flying out to the beautiful bvi from australia for our honeymoon. can you moor a dingy off shore or do you have to beach them? or is driving the only option in getting to the waves? trying to avoid driving for our holiday.

Boards... - yo you aint gonna find a descent board in Tortola for a cheap price, there is a shop in Road Town, "HIHO" where on average you're looking at spendin anywhere between $300-$600.
