forgot to say - wanted to say 1 more thing...u say the spot starts happening at 3ft and holds up to 8ft+...if u talkin hawaiian its more or less ok...if u talkin about faces u should double that numbers...Push 5ft is crap, like Pipe.
Push starts being Push at 8ft and holds up to 15+...and FAT

heres the deal - Im local bodyboarder, close to 20yrs experience, so i know wot im sayin. Been to G-land, Pipe, Pto. Esc, Indo, Canarias..etc I know about heavy waves and u cant compare...heavy = heavy...but each got their own thing that makes them different.
El Push is definetly in top 10 waves in the world when u talk about quality, size, power and consequense of a mistake. If u wanna talk consistency of the spot, Push is crap...but when its happening u wont forget the session.
I think Push deserves the 5 stars, so does Pipe, GLand, Pto, and Teahupoo....but trying to choose wich 1 is better is impossible. Depends on what you are looking for.
But definetly Push is the best spot in PR, better than chatarra, pussy point, margara or gas chambers.

5 estrellas - have you ever been to G-land? and anyway sometimes even Pipeline is flat...so when I get this wave once I remember the waves that day and it was fuckin good!!!so I decided to put the pic and I described it the best as I can but a 4 stars may be more realistic...

Push or be tossed - This is a heavy nasty wave man, it sucks up so much water during takeoff and is very hard to read ,it is like a snake it moves and you never can really know what it is going to do. Nasty rocks below surface, super powerful caught it with my friends Fernando and Kiko 10' to 15' faces did not really catch any waves behind the peak like you must. Fernando if you read this send me your email adress.
