crowded manglito - i live near by and when manglito is good you can easily find 20 to 30 people in the water. and i don't know if this is a good thing or not but most of them are experience surfers.. so there are less chances of getting a good wave...manglito is the best wave in the island no doubt.!!!!hang lose..and surf all you can..adios

to PoP - Pop, I have spent several winters in PR, rented house in aguadilla, close to this break and it breaks well more often than people think. The description is a little optimistic but not too far off, I would say alrite. Manglito is less crowed than wishing and I have seen time and time again wishing w/ about 25 people and manglo w/ about 10 or less and only a foot smaller and witha better form. even if ya know where it is and paddle out and its perfect u betta be a good surfer because the wave is fast like most good reef waves but the tube is open most of the time. And it breaks more than 3 times a year... no place if you are a Gremo but if your good doesnt matter if your gringo like me you have a good time and take advantage of one of the best rights in the area...or not since there are other options but if the wind is howling and the swell is up im there.

good wave.....................about 3 times a year - the description to this break is completely misleading. this IS NOT a perfect wave. It's certainly NOT the best right in the caribbean. first of all, it is very inconsistent breaking in only the biggest of swells (with the right direction of course). second it wishing is breaking, that DOES NOT mean that manglito is. third his remark about "never seeing it close out" is relative. in reality AT LEAST have of the waves in a set wil run past you or close out. add the fact that when its going off it is VERY, VERY crowded and you'll realize that you better off surfing in say, rincon, instead of here.a los locales, les digo: "si, eso es lo q necesitamos un huevon ofreciendo informacion detallada de nuestras mejores playas"
