SAVE CRAB ISLAND - Plans are in place to wreck the 'surfability' of Crab Island. The proposed pier development will mean that the wave is gone/compromised.

Please lend your voice in an effort to stop this from being allowed.

so sick - this place is so sick. cant believe how much swell it picks up. got some amazing barrels with 3 guys out today...a saturday...and sunshine...warm water..what a joke!! about 6 feet when lahinch is 2 feet up the road

Good wave - I visited this wave a few winters back and lucked into uncrowded, overhead barrels. Short wave with good barrel section. Not as dangerous as people are making it out as there is relative safety 30 yards away in the channel. I cant see this place holding more than 10 surfers without a problem of some sort arising.

Crab - unfortunatly this wave is now so overcrowded when its on that it is hardly worth looking at. a pity because its fantastic wave. Certainly not the first reef that you should surf - ie anyone just moved on from a bic/mini mal, put your time in on other reefs, take your beatings and learn the right way to behave on a decent, fast, hollow wave.

Little Aussie - Why don't you act like a 16 year old then. What's your mental age, mate? Either stay over in OZ or learn some respect for others. I'm sure more reasonable australians and irishmen/women would be happy to share a wave with anyone if they were a reasonable person, regardless of nationality. You should surf to enjoy yourself but allow other people to do this at the same time. Even if you do hate England. PS nice spot guys, looks like a proper good wave.
