can you practice windsurfing in piran or is it impossible?

Piran - Forget about this place. it is pretty flat and inconsistent. Places like Jezolo in Italy, or Medulin in croatia are better.. but don't expect something great.. it is just adriatic sea !!

surf in piran - I live in Trieste (a city in Italy, near Piran) and i've discovered this spot just few days ago here, then i'm waiting the Bora (N/E very strong wind) to see the waves in Piran. ujusansa - Hi, visit www.ujusansa.si or you can conntact me on klemen@ujusansasurfklub.si . You need strong NE wind which is more common in autumn, winter and spring, but now we don't surf it that often anymore. We wait for south wind and surf in Medulin/Croatia. You surf on a lake, which one?

in which season to surf Piran? - hello! this message goes out to the author of this page.
I am from Klangenfurt Austria, so about 200 kilometres away from Piran, and usually we surf at our lake here, or drive down to Italy and surf in Lignano. I just wanted to ask in which time of the year it is possible to surf in Piran? Or does it simply rely on the wind? Thanks a lot in advance. Hati
