- mid-tide with 4ft+ swell this beach has got some awsome sandbanks. nice peeling barrels :D

shut-it - shut-it perran is one (not the best)but one of the best beachies in cornwall. low tide is king!

bouncy - its bouncy and weak and bouncy and a bit gay, sometimes the locals fall off and run you over with there mals better off trying up the bungles bungles its a left with a right and a straight hander in the middle. I like to go straight here it rocks

- Beware the rips, this beach has some of the worst rips in Cornwall which are often flash forming ie form instantly without warning, hence its prominent position on TV's "Seaside Rescue". Easy to get caught out so not particularly suited to beginners, even if the waves are - you need to know how to deal with rips before going out here.

perranporth is great - high tide rivermouth 400mrights,needs a big swell though .watering hole pub too
