Hueneme Beach - yes this beach is for locals only but you need to earn your respect and DON'T BE A SNAKE because thats the worst -i fucking hate smakes-

nothing more hardcore than being friendly - I’m hearing a few insecure babies here.. I've been surfing hueneme on and off for years now cos it's close to work & not as crowded. you all got too much time on your hands if you're messing with other surfers just because you didn't have to "drive" as far. i don't care how close you live. you just don't tell people how many people they can bring, or not to have someone taking photos. If you’re made because you don’t recognize a surfer in the water, introduce yourself, say what’s up! if you're sad cause you're surfing alone, make a friend! if you're sad cause no one's taking photos of you.. do some tricks! But for god’s sake, don't cry and get all moody & territorial.. grow up, it's pathetic & embarrassing. the only "hard-core" locals are the cool & friendly locals who don't have to prove themselves. Everyone knows that. No matter what waters you’re in. Keep it fun.

HPL - ok to get the record straight im in hpl ok and yeah were a little harsh on some people but ay no one cuts us slack so y give them some we dont start beef they do and then if u claim what they claim then u get the consequence too but if u dont like our beach then dont leave but if u do then ur welcome to surf

PORT HUENEME? - In the 60's and 70's there were rumors about a secret surf spot on the military base there. People kept trying to paddle in from Pt. Magoo and getting busted. I finally got to surf it in 1974 when my Marine friend got us in legally. It is a damn good wave. It has a breakwater and breaks exactly like Sandspit in Santa Barbara. It takes a south swell so it is far more consistent with nobody out. Long, long tube rides! I'd rate it in the top 5 in California for tube rides.

polluted - have surf explored around so. cal for years ,and this place has been dirty often.Got good waves there before in the early nineties. Heard something about butthole surfers in the area, i have not experienced it ,but i dont doubt it. usually the butthole surfers are the ones that dont surf that good ,and either live at home still ,or are the uneducated thief types.
