In response to this Fag: - Beware of Schmoozer Alley The only drawback to surfing here and Suicides, is if you surf here a lot, the physical fitness fanatics who hang out on the wall - right where you need to walk - will think you live in Diamond Head and will try to befriend you thinking you are rich and they can somehow schmooze thier way into the upper classes. I am not rich but rented an apartmnet near there for a year and snuck out for a surf when I wasn't working or overseas - not social hour - just mindin' my own biz an goin for a quick surf. But these homo(sapiens) would sit in their exercise house and be like hey, you live in DH - can I be your friend? And if you weren't chummy with them, they'd lose it and get aggro! WTF?! Surf spot, or social pressure conform zone! Bunch of schmoozin looser freaks. Surf AND get a life! I am the Wizard, Gravy's/Sui's local and also a previous resident of the Muscle House, or Big Mama's house. Lyn passed away two years ago in August, rest her soul. The Gym is no longer active, and our tight crew disbanded with her passing, so this must have been a long time ago. We rehab'd hurt older people with injuries, and also train there MMA, this was the "Fight House". There is NO possibility that ANYONE there would want to be your friend. nobody in that house was poor, and surely would not schmooze up to some KOOK that got lucky enough to live in "PUA LEI- Circle" and thinks they made it....I know Everybody in that Neighborhood and If you don't feel comfortable in my Nieghborhood, that's a sign that you shouldn't surf there. It IS HIGHLY localized and I don't reccomend anyone to come here at all. Ever been choked out? well, even the girls that lived here would submit you in a hurry:) Open displays of friendship are common with us NICE people. If you were a DICK in return than I'm sure it was your own bad attitude that keeps you from excelling in life. Please never come back to Gravies. Big mamma was short, bald, super tan, ripped like Arnold, and Black belt in Jiu Jitsu.A fight with her would be two hits, her hitting you...and you hitting the ground!

LOCAL - Graveyards is local. Intended to stay that way. Respect should be given to those who grew up at that spot. You should be so fortunate to score good gravies. wait your turn and no shoulder hoppin.

FACT, FICTION AND REALITY - FACT: Graveyards exists right where its says so on wannasurf.FICTION: This place does get crowded.REALITY: There's been a regular groupd of guys surfing this place for years, and when all 8 of them are out in the line-up, forget about getting any waves because they are super aggressive and self-absorbed. A fun wave, but often ruined by these guys who think they own it.

BEWARE OF MYTHICAL SURF SPOTS - I had to find out the hard way that there is no such wave. Graveyards is a mythical surf spot. It was hyped up by a couple of cali surfers that came and were actually surf a spot neat daimond lighthouses. People mistake this for another spot near tonggs. Graveyards is nonexistant and everyone should never get near the shallow reef. It is so shallow. Also no bodyboarders are ever allowed near tongg's/ mythical graveyards, and if you show up the locals will proabably end up cutting you off everyway, I had to find out the hard way!!!

- Anyone know...is it true a helicopter crashed in or near the suicides channel?
De anonymous , 18-11-2004
the braddah - i surfed graveyards for the 1st time, and that wave was super fun. its a sick left that comes in and its super rippable and it says on the lip just smack it. its a fun place to get away from kaisers or whatever and surf a sick left with not really a crowd. its definitely a high performance wave.

graveyards is sick! - i've had so many fun sessions there. super low tide, sucking up, pitching rights... one of my all time favorite breaks. just trading the waves one after the other, no hassles, just killer fun waver. although, not always firing, this was the spot for me and the boys back in the day while in college. i miss this break a lot - good fun.
