Private beach dont really matter there arent really any private beach it has a lot of fisherman in summer but if ther fishing the best thing to do is to run over there line its there problem anyways

English (Traduzir este texto em Português): waves dont really come often in the winter but when they do it can get pretty good. The summer is the best of all, it come almost every day nothing huge but storms always hits us in the summer

YOU ARE ALL KOOKS!!!! - There is no area on Sullivan's Island called "Burkes Beach." The spot is called BERTS. I have heard some kooks in the past and talk about this infamous Burkes and I thought that they were the stupuidest people to ever ride a surfboard, but aparently not...YA'LL ARE!! (meaning the people that have talked about how great "burkes" is) My advise to ya'll is stick to the longboards, stay at 25th street on IOP, and stay the *uck out of my way. GO BACK TO OHIO!!!

n - dude i was surfing here the other day and by the main entrence to burkes beach it was like ankle high and blown out then i just walked to the left area by that log and it was like 2 feet over head and glassy and it was only me out.P.S. it was low tide

- take it from a gnarly wookie loc with sick dreads and rotten teeth- there is a burkes beach and its on hilton head island. i dont know what that first comment guy is talking about, but he needs to chill out with his brown aura-vibes. seriously man, just like, mellow out, im trying to chill to jack johnson over here. like my puka shells?
