Good one - Great beach, powerfull wave, but must of the time the wave breaks irregular, brakin all at once, all together. Still a great spot. Respect the locals and the ocean ay Aloha

O Tombo é o paraiso ... - Na minha opinião é a melhor praia do Litoral , moro em Santos , chego em 20 minutos , com ferry -boat em dias comuns .

Em dias que vç consegue amaré certinha , naquele horário de inicio de cheia, pela manhã (9:30 até 11;30) até por causa do crowd.
Existe contudo um localismo calado, mas muito forte.
Porém , se vç apresentar serviço,como em qualquer pico,as coisas se resolvem...

Good option - I´m from São Paulo and I surf almost every weekend in this spot. There are many left´s and right´s all over the beach. I prefer south swell ´cause the right is the best of São Paulo. Respect the local boys, they are sick, unless you doesn´t like your teeths!!!

- I'm from Santos, and, this spot is probably the best around. From home, 30 minutes in a bicycle and you get there. If anyone wants some help, can write to me!

my experience - tombos is great... only about 2.5 hours total from são paulo by public transportation (subway to bus station in são paulo, then bus to guaraja, then bus from downtown guaraja to tombos)... went on a day trip yesterday (sept. 22) and surf was clean and almost glassy... water was a little chilly and I forgot to bring my wetsuit, so bring it if you go in september...

malaga surfing - I was surfing in january in this increible spot. Is really great to surf in warm water when in spain at this date is winter and the water be 13 or 15 ºc
