RE:Best deal ever - The comment below by eforaker@yahoo.com is typical of the greedy operators around here. Surfable swells are very rare in the offseason and favourable winds are non-existant. On top of that, wetseason weather is terrible.

golden geese - sick wave, up to 3 barrel sections if ya good enough, i ate some deer in the line up as i was hungry. this is quite acceptiable as deer is a delicous tasting animal that goes great with beetroot and a nifty shiraz. dont know what the wave way way around the point is called but surfed it and its fucken epic as well. once returning to padang becareful of geese, a wild goose once tried to swindle a pocket full of rupiah from my grasp. hectic

James is right - you're right James, i lied...there are no waves in the off-season. Despite this, we are running trips up until December for the 5th year in the row, i would offer you a spot on a trip so you could see about the waves for yourself but for some reason the trips are already fully booked up (WITH RETURN CUSTOMERS). I guess they just like sitting on a boat for 10 days while it's flat or something. James you're a kook, write me an email (it's still the same address) and we can meet up and have a nice chat about my greed next time you come through the area.
