Don't stay at Lazy Left Guest House - We stayed at Lazy Left Guest House. 5 days in the guy (Suigie) presented us with a bill where he overcharged us for both our room and surfboard rentals, but we thought we'd overlook it as it really wasn't that much when translated into dollars.
A week later we went out for dinner with everyone and the next day he kicked us out for stealing business from his restaurant. I guess he wanted us to eat at his place with his mediocre food every meal for the three weeks we were there. When we started to move out he demanded his bill right away and when we didn't have enough to pay in full (we hadn't planned on leaving) he thought we were skipping out on the bill and got enraged, ripped a chunk out of his wood fence and threatened to hit me with it. I guess last year he threatened three guys with a knife.
There are lots of guest houses in Midigama, I'd recommend looking around a bit before settling on that place again. We went next door to RAM'S which is way nicer and friendlier and the price for a similar room is the same.

Definitely got the feeling Suigie just looked at us as walking dollar signs, wouldn't stay there again.

one of the best spot!!! - the place is less crowded than the other beaces and has a great left.the rooms there are cheap.i spend there a week and we surf morning session and evening session.i am coming back for sure!!!
