Marengo Pumps! - Between the shit house point at the caravan park and cape otway lighthouse lie many great waves, hire a boat or hike, if the shitty point at marengo caravan park looks good then the other 'hidden' waves will be all time,moo cows, elliots etc, etc, oh yeah yeah baby

is it... - I remember surfing the point break on a pretty low tide and seeing a crazy wave sucking dry on a reef and just pounding... it was only a 4ft swell and this thing still looked scary. didn't look ridable on that day, just thick, hollow and closing out... it was a bunch of rocks a couple hundred metres left (if looking out to sea) of the point break... is this what this is meant to be?? I thought on that day that it could be surfable on a much higher tide

marengoer - yeah ive got a house just up the road from the point and its one of the most notoriously dangerous breaks along this stretch buts its sick fun if you get it on a high tide when its barelling well, but yeah watch out for the sharks
