English (Traduzir este texto em Português): This is on the east side of the island, near Orient Beach (the clothing optional beach). You have to take a boat to the spot, and the French-owned and operated staff have a boat to take you out, called the "Ecole de Surf de St. Martin". Follow signs to Galleon beach, then signs to the Butterfly farm. Go straight til you hit the beach at the end of a sandy road. Geral
English (Traduzir este texto em Português): A lot of fun, and way better than doing the typical tourist stuff! Stay away from the fatties on Orient Beach, where you'll find way more senior citizens walking around naked than you ever thought possible.

walk to the point - indeed, walk to the point: into the water, watch for the urchins and in 10 minutes you are in the line up:always something to ride> nice bowl section on the inside and try to go left!

Le Galion (Dec 2007) - Waves were small but not a very crowded spot. Great for beginners. You can rent equipment at the surf shop and take lessons. It's a bit expensive but staff very friendly. They only speak french tho, so dont take a lesson if you don't speak french as it will be a waste.
