English (Traduzir este texto em Português): Ask for the k16 surf shop to find the spot and hire a board, ...
Be sure to wear some boots otherwise you'll get your feet cut.
Watch where the locals enter the water, because the current makes it hard to enter the water (esp. at high tide).
Be careful because there's one big rock in the water which you can't see at hige tide.
Make sure not to surf the wave till the end or you might get yourself or your board scratched by the rocks.
You can park your car right in front of the spot next to a gym.

Iam local - Hello all surfers of the world, I am Peruvian but I live in Tenerife, exactly in Cabo Blanco. My favourite spot is la Derecha next to the Piscina. The waves are very beautiful when they are big and glassy. Greetings to the locals of Piscina: Gonzalo, Titi, Edu, Inigo, Socorrista, Marcela, Cizo, etc..all the sudakasAtentamente El Pata Jaime

Piscenas & K16 Surf Shop Rock - Dude you are indeed thinking of the satallite K16 surf shop near Piscenas (pool)nr Las Americas/Hotel Conquistador.Spent the last week of May and first week June there. Yup the reef was scary at first but the surf chicks @ K16 had lots of info where, when, and when not to surf that stretch. They're ballsy surfers with friendly attitude.Water in June (22 deg) was noticably warmer than May (19-21). Full moon gave depth to the reef and at highs you didn't have to worry much about reef close in.It was busy at weekends but not Uber Zoo like. If you know your lingo(a bit)and show respect you should have no problemo with locales. I did ok.May-June is between breaks. ie Fitenya just around the headland PS III and Spanish left I was told. Did have a run of flat days those two weeks but when it worked. Hoo eee. Only had one Epic day realy 5ft+ in 14 days.Did ok in boardies and a longsleave rasher but would take a wettie next time for reef protection and to last longer in the early morning waters.Disclaimer: This was my local break for 14 days holiday what it's like for the rest of the year I cant say.
