English (Traduzir este texto em Português): it is the best place for surfing on sylt, sometimes the waves became fast and hollow(some people say you can have a tube out there but this is not raly often).

- I think this spot should get 3 stars, because it is the best spot in Germany. Apart from Eisbach in Munich. But remember: "Locals only" ;D

additional info - Wenningstedt is mostly a shorebreak... waves tend to barrel, but most of them are closeouts! There are absolutely no crowds whatsoever & it's a rare occasion, that there are more than 4 or 5 surfers out in the water... currents can be pretty nasty and watch out for the jetties, that come every 200m: they aren't marked, so it's possible you hit one of them during a high tide surf session... my advice: go luck for different line ups during low tide, when the surf sucks and stick to them, when paddling out @ high tide!
