East is the beast - Please add east stand, i will write the report and im sure Andy in Troggs will give a pic or two. Being serious East Strand is the best beach break in Ireland, with respect to all the other great breaks. Their are multiple peaks but the right hander towards the Arcadia is awesome, can get to around 8-10ft with huge board-snapping barrels!

Local - Some of these photos are from EAST STRAND. It's only round the corner but it's still a different wave. West generally provides fun surf as east mostly has beauty barrels. Both brilliant waves.

- west often gets heavey, east is normally better or try portballintrae for some size especially on a big north/north west swell with off shore wind, normally less crowded than east and west aswell
