Alex - Im not a local but i surf polzeath regularly. A few weeks ago this July polzeath was completely blown out. 12ft+ and impossible to paddle out. Had a feeling lundy might be going off and god i was right. 30 guys including Bunty and Russel Winter all surfing 6 - 8ft gems peeling off the headland on the right. Probably the best days surfing i've ever had in cornwall. Really sucky, full of power and so clean.

good spot - when polzy is crowded this is a good spot as there are lots of other spots along this coastline so the crowds are spread out but keep it quiet

bad day - heard loads of good stuff about lundy but had to sit in car on way up there with an absolute wanker who was determined it would be working got changed took the long walk down and it was shit. Ain't going again first impression stuck and i don't speak to that cunt anymore either.
