The left at Hartland quay is the best kept secret in the area, very rarely about 5 days a year on overa 2.5M swell with no wind, a classic wave is to be had, I have surfed here for about 10years and had it to myself. Any wind totally spoils it. Otherwise at low tide on smaller swell, a shitty beachbreak which often closes out is to be had, a dangerous paddle out over virtually bare rocks. Better off going to Spekes which at least produces a good wave 99% of the time.
