not real surfing but real fun - ok first and for most this thing has nothing to do with surfing. i have only done it twice and i would never let it take the place of surfing. but it is a blast. i would say try the sponge first, no matter how long you have been surfing. i would think that someone that is a good wake skater and snow boarder would have the best shoot at this thing. but dont forget where the idea came from, go surf if there are any waves, and if not give em a few bucks and have a great time.
