BULLS*** - Dude the place is packed from waist high and up. Everyone thinks their the next slater or they are total kooks and have no idea what they are doing. The worst thing about this spot is the localism. The douchebags from GAY-coast surf shop think they run shit, but all they run is that tourist attraction they built last year. Im moving out west!!!

48th steert???!?? - I'm not taking anything away from 48th but there are alot of other good breaks as well. During Hurricanes a sick spot is 130th street. 8th street gets some pretty consistent break there and The Pier and inlet tend to go off with the right swell direction. You gotta look at the type of storm and its winds to decide which place will be the way to go.

Bill Wise - Remembering long ago surf mag article about surfer from here became tragically disabled from spinal injury surfing accident. Just saw note of his passing TSJ. He was praised in both issues. Any comment from those who knew him?
