English (Traduzir este texto em Português): You can see this spot from the top of the hill after you make your turn. If it is a great day, you will see the alongshore waves going right to left. At mid to high tide, the rip along the rocks will take you right out to the break. On big days, the waves will be breaking to the left of the point about 100 to 200 yards south. What a great spot.
Ambiente
English (Traduzir este texto em Português): there's a mixup here...the description given of the location is that of Agate Beach (0r just "Agate") not NORTH Agate There's never been a north Agate... there was/is a spot on the north side of Yaquina Head called "Northside" but it was so seldom surfable that people just sort of gave up on it and you dont hear much about it these days...someone needs to correct this naming mistake...causes confusion...really dont need two names for this one spot
Geral
English (Traduzir este texto em Português): In general - few people out, great crowd, and great surf. Easy access and great local spot.

born in agate beach - It's not dangerous (A) and (B)It is NOT south Agate Beach. The other side of the headland (commonly known as "northside") is actually part of Moolack beach.
The injuries have been from lack of experience, that's it. But hey, you have to learn by practicing.

please - a regional classic? common are you serious? more like a desperation spot to escape devil winds. this spot shouldn't be listed, i've seen many kooks get hurt here, everything about this spot is dangerous. good luck and surf with respect if you do go here, dropping in on someone can have bad results

HISTORY LESSON - surfing on the central coast pretty much started HERE!...summer of '64...the old agate is gone forever...buried under a gazillion tons of sand...that's ok,i guess...it can still get pretty good on occasion
