English (Traduzir este texto em Português): At high tide: lefts along the head. The current is permanent and offers the way back to the peak.
Sandbar peaks to the north (rights and lefts) specially on NW swell.
Can be hollow. Powerless but fun at high tides (for longboarders).

The spot is for all levels. NO - the cove wave is an advanced to intermediate. IF you cant surf or if your not to good Please stay away from the outside pocket. IF your just LEARNING OR getting the hang of it surf towards the northend. theres right and left beach break there, and theres sand and no rip. much safe and better for everyone.

surfermag cant say it any better - I surf where I grew up, and there are good waves there every so often. It used to be you HAD to live in the area to know when and if it was good. Internet sure changed that. ALWAYS crowded now. Let me tell you, I will NEVER be cool with carloads of outsiders and first timers paddling out and clogging my spots. I'm sick of set waves that get ruined by confused scrambling obstacles. Kooks riding longboards with cords. Idiots ditching their boards in your way. That's the reality. There will always be localism as long as there are locals. Why? Because non-locals always seem to tempt fate and push their boundaries at foreign spots. This at the expense of the regulars. So...wherever you're from, GO BACK! That's just my perspective.
and when i read this i think of the cove and our point
