the best in the area - On some days it gets truly epic...make sure you walk along the cliff or you wont make it to the point as the current is very strong (specially on southern swells).

you dont know - whoever called la ensenada a regional classic doesn't know shit. this spot is the best of the best when the sand is right. not like sentinela or any of that bs... more like panic point.

STRONG CURRENT, OLYMPIC PADDLING REQUIRED - This spot has one of the strongest water currents in the whole peruvian coast (more or less as the one in Sentinela when it's really big). It really takes an olympic paddling to get to the point-break. I reccomend you to wait for someone who knows the beach and follow him through the cliff at the left hand, do some real rock climbing carrying your board, and get as closer as you can to the point. You´ll get to a rock just 15 mts. from it where you will have to jump into the water and paddle as fast as you can cause you won't beleive how rapidly you can get swept away. Most people who start paddling from the shore don't make it, FOLLOW MY ADVICE you won't regret it.

no title - clean and powerful barrels. its like organos or la playita sometimes when it gets big with a west swell watch out for your board!
